LaunchPad Program
The LaunchPad Program envisions a Red Hook future with a flourishing regional economy fueled by a local, skilled, and visionary labor force equipped for the next iteration of the regional labor market. This ten month program exposes participants to sustainable career paths and connects them with the resources to begin their journey’s with the best foot forward. The program focuses on health, IT, technology, green energy and entrepreneurship.
Corporate Volunteer Partners
Partner across Red Hook Initiative and Red Hook Farms programming to support our work during a year of engagement. Your employees will help further our mission to foster a new generation of leaders with opportunities related to their academic success, professional development, and leadership skills. Bring a variety of volunteering opportunities to your staff, all with different focuses and qualities, while retaining the same through line of Red Hook Initiative’s trauma informed theory of change. Partners can select from a list of opportunities and design their own depending on the alignment of your business and our work.
Red Hook Farm Volunteering
Work alongside our youth farmers and adult farm staff to cultivate a variety of organic vegetables on one of our two farm sites. Learn about urban farming and the unique challenges and environment in Red Hook while supporting the next generation of fresh produce. Red Hook Farms employees 20+ individuals and grows about 20,000 lbs of produce a year. Tasks may include weeding, harvesting, planting, turning compost, and many other farm duties.
Taste Sponsors
Our most anticipated event of the year, Taste of Red Hook. The Liberty Warehouse will be filled to the brim with the best of New York’s restaurateurs, foodies and tastemakers. You will enjoy delectable bites from dozens of restaurants, breweries, bakeries, wineries and more. Sponsorships range from $5,000 to $50,000 and bring together national brands and local allies.
